Katrina Quilt square

This was supposed to be posted yesterday, but here is my cross stitched quilt square for the Hurricane Katrina Quilt Project. The design is based on a freebie by Canterbury Designs, but I changed it so I could use the very apt quote from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. "Take the first step in faith." In the face of things we cannot understand, such as natural disaster, the only thing we can do is proceed with faith.

I look forward to seeing your square. It's nice to see so many people doing things for those in need right here in the US. :)

Beautiful design. Canterbury's got some good ones. You are so right about proceeding in faith. If we had all life's answers, we wouldn't need Jesus, the only One who knows the beginning from the end and the whys and wherefores of all things! Keep up the good work.

Hi! Im new to the site. I made 100 blue and pink hats with the knifty knitter last year as a cmmunity service project for my school. My boyfriends grandma found out serveral weeks ago she has cancer and has started loosing her hair. I thought I would ake her a chemo hat with the knifty knitter and make for for ohers she has met. I dont have a pattern for the knifty knitter. If you have a pattern if you could please email it to me so I can get started asap! Thanks in advance. Brooke JVLTB@aol.com
