Hello everyone,
When a friend asked for help I could not resist jumping in... She needs baby booties, as well as many other items, for newborn kits. As soon as I was done reading my e-mails, I sat down and crocheted 6 pairs of booties in, I would say, about 24 hours. :o) The pattern I used was based on the one you can find on the Patterns by Dot's website (http://patbythehook.blogdrive.com ), under Child's Ribbed Slippers. I modified the pattern to fit what I felt like making. Now I simply have to add the last-minute details, wash the batch and package it to for send-off. I love it when I'm able to finish a project quickly.
Now, I'm off to make a prayer shawl on my knifty-knitter to show off at our weekend convention.
