Hi my name is Sarah. As well as this being my first post here it is also my first post using blogspot (I use wordpress). I learned how to knit and crochet in Aug. '05 and have been at it since! May-Dec. '06 I knit and crocheted hats for Caps to the Capital. I made 22 hats, but some local crafters and some family members sent me some bringing the total to 73! This past year I have been making items for the Preemie Project and I just sent two boxes full to them! I also sent a box of mittens to Crafting Angels. I also just recently (yesterday night) started a Craft-Along on my blog for Animal Shelters.

Like you, I am new to this group but not to charity knitting.
The work that you show on your blog is lovely and so diverse. I especially liked the striped, bright-colored mittens.
Oliver looks like he has a lot of personality.
Welcome to the group!
Thanks!
The striped mittens were made from yarn that was supposed to be a granny square scarf (it was a kit) but I didn't like the scarf so I did 8 rows of each color on the mittens.
Oliver sure does have a lot of personality!! He walks around here like he owns the place! He turns 6 months in 2 days.

I like that you pick a different charity each month. That's one way to spread the lover around!
I meant "love" not "lover":).
Glad to have you on board.
LOVE YOUR WORK.
